The Chernyshev group does research in the field of theoretical quantum magnetism, with a particular emphasis on the outstanding properties of quantum materials. The group collaborates extensively with experimental and numerical experts in the field to bring about a better understanding of novel quantum phenomena in microscopic models and real materials that these models describe. They also maintain keen interest in the strongly-correlated electronic quantum systems, in which interactions between the constituent particles and excitations play dominant role.
