The Krivorotov group is interested in quantum phenomena in magnetic and superconducting systems. Recent examples of this research include: magnon condensation induced by spin currents, spin-triplet condensates in ferromagnet/superconductor hybrids, magnon-phonon hybridization in magnetic nanostructures, and relativistic quantum effects in condensed matter systems such as spin-orbit torques.
