Fei leads a research group working at the interface between optics, computation and biomedicine, with a particular interest in designing advanced optical systems to image, sense, and process biomedical information probed by light. She aims to provide innovative solutions to challenging biomedical needs through the co-design of hardware and software. With quantum light, imaging and sensing can be enhanced in certain cases. Fei is interested in exploring these use cases and tailoring them to biomedical imaging and sensing.
